First, check mobile vax services to learn details and set your appointment for an in-home vaccination. If no provider is listed, contact your local county health department and inquire for possibilities. Explain your situation and ask for vaccination options or help setting up an in-home vaccination progam. Consider contacting your state health department, for additional information. Other helpful options include inquiring with local home healthcare providers, hospitals, and your family physician.
Most likely there are many people in your area desiring home vaccination. Consider explaining your situation with local press (print, radio, television) to help inform others of this need in your area. Team up with those in need to carry a louder voice. Don't give up! Become your own vaccination advocate!
If you are aware of mobile vax services available in your area or other important info not listed here, please help by contacting us with your information at info@mobilevax.org. Thank you!

If you have an elderly or homebound relative in need of vaccination, the Virginia Department of Health urges that person’s caregiver to preregister them through the Vaccinate Virginia COVID-19 call center at (877) VAX-IN-VA or (877) 829-4682 and notify the call center representative about any special needs for vaccination. If the person is 75 or older, there’s also an express service lane. The caregiver should also contact their local health department. |
